Participant Terms & Conditions and Code of Conduct
The following terms apply to all participants enrolled in any Gabriel Professional Development Academy (GPDA) program, including ACPMA. By completing enrollment and payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms in full.
- Declaration by the Applicant
- I confirm that I have read the program information and understand the eligibility criteria. I meet the stated eligibility requirements and have provided accurate information in my application. I acknowledge that any material misrepresentation or omission may result in cancellation of my enrollment, forfeiture of fees paid, and revocation of any certification awarded.
- I understand and accept that enrollment in any GPDA program does not constitute, imply, or guarantee: (a) any offer of employment, internship, or placement by Gabriel & Co. A unit of Gabriel Research Consulting LLP (Gabriel & Co) or any third party; (b) any affiliation, accreditation, or recognition by any university, government body, or regulatory authority; or (c) any guaranteed outcome in terms of career progression or employment.
- I understand that all program fees are non-refundable and non-transferable to another individual, subject to the Refund & Cancellation Policy available at www.gabrielco.in/refund-policy.
- I understand that enrollment is subject to confirmation of payment and receipt of a formal enrollment confirmation from Gabriel & Co.
- I consent to receiving program-related communications, batch updates, and relevant information from Gabriel & Co. via email, SMS, and WhatsApp. I may withdraw this consent at any time by writing to info@gabrielco.in, with the understanding that withdrawal of consent may affect my ability to receive essential program communications.
- I acknowledge that Gabriel & Co. reserves the right to amend program rules, schedules, content, and delivery format at its sole discretion. Material changes affecting enrolled participants will be communicated in writing with reasonable notice.
- Attendance Policy
- A minimum attendance of ninety percent (90%) across all scheduled sessions is mandatory for eligibility for the program certificate. Attendance below this threshold will disqualify the participant from certification, irrespective of performance in assessments or projects.
- In the event of absence from a session, the participant must: (a) notify Gabriel & Co. in advance or as soon as reasonably practicable; (b) provide a valid reason and supporting documentation where applicable; and (c) obtain approval from Gabriel & Co. for the absence to be recorded as an approved exemption. Gabriel & Co. reserves the right to determine whether an absence qualifies as an approved exemption.
- Any learning material, case studies, assignments, or projects associated with a missed session must be completed by the participant within the timeline specified by Gabriel & Co., regardless of the reason for absence.
- Code of Conduct
All GPDA participants are expected to conduct themselves with professionalism, integrity, and respect at all times during the program. The following conduct standards apply to all sessions, whether online or in-person:
- Intellectual Property & Confidentiality: All program content, materials, presentations, case studies, frameworks, and session recordings are the exclusive intellectual property of Gabriel & Co. and are protected under applicable Indian copyright and intellectual property law. Participants may not photograph, screenshot, record (audio or video), reproduce, distribute, publish, or share any program content in any format, by any means, without the prior written consent of Gabriel & Co. Breach of this clause may result in immediate termination of enrollment, forfeiture of fees, and legal action.
- Punctuality: Participants are expected to join sessions on time. Late arrivals may be marked as absent at the discretion of the faculty.
- Participation Protocol: Participants wishing to ask questions or contribute to discussion during a live session must use the designated ‘raise hand’ feature (online) or signal the facilitator (in-person) and await acknowledgement before speaking.
- Respectful Conduct: Participants must maintain a respectful, collegial, and professional environment at all times. Disruptive, disrespectful, or inappropriate behavior towards faculty, staff, or fellow participants will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the program without refund.
- Session Housekeeping (Online): Participants are expected to join sessions from a quiet, distraction-free environment; keep microphones muted when not speaking; use professional or neutral virtual backgrounds; and ensure their display name matches their registered name.
- Certification
The Advanced Certification Program in Medical Affairs (ACPMA) certificate is participation certificate awarded by Gabriel & Co. upon successful completion of all program requirements, including the 90% attendance threshold, submission of all required assignments and projects, and adherence to this Code of Conduct. Gabriel & Co. reserves the right to withhold certification from any participant who fails to meet these requirements.
