Dr. Prof. Agam Vora

Prof. Dr. Agam Vora is a leading chest physician and respiratory specialist based in Mumbai, with over 25 years in clinical practice, teaching, and research, and is Medical Director of Vora Clinic, Borivali West. He served as Assistant Honorary Chest Physician and Head of the Department of Chest & TB at Dr. R. N. Cooper Municipal General Hospital (2002-2019) and as a professor of pulmonology. A graduate of Grant Medical College, Mumbai, with postgraduate training in pulmonology from Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College, he has authored more than 50 publications and book chapters, delivered over 500 guest lectures, and organized or chaired more than 30 national and international conferences, including NAPCON 2016.

In 1999 he pioneered India’s first tracheal-stent insertion for benign tracheal stenosis. He is a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians (FCCP), the Royal College of Physicians, London (FRCP), and the Indian College of Physicians (FICP), among others; a past Secretary General of the Association of Physicians of India; and a recipient of the COVID Warrior Trophy from the Governor of Maharashtra for his service during the pandemic.
